Tune in to Redwood Community Radio, KMUD on Wednesday January 4th at 7pm for the Civil Liberties Hour with Bonnie Blackberry, Charley Custer and Dan Taranto, for an update on efforts to restore democratic principles to the Humboldt County General Plan Update (GPU) and planning process. Important information came up at the December 15th Planning Commission workshop meeting, not covered by the media. A southern Humboldter called it the most educational meeting he'd ever attended. We will also have information on the January 19th continuation of December's Update review of Chapters 1, 2, and 3 . Democracy requires an informed citizenry. If you're interested, tune in to KMUD radio on Wednesday, January 4th at 7pm. To view the Planning Commission video archive of the meeting, you can go to http://humboldt.granicus.com/MediaPlayer.php?view_id=2&clip_id=389
